Tryptic – Soft Drink Proposal to Coca-Cola

August 27, 2009

A collaborative project while a student at The Portfolio Center, Tryptic is a complete vision to redefine the soft drink by producing a healthy beverage with global flavors. We presented our project to a room full of creatives at Coca-Cola’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. It was a huge learning experience, to say the least.

We spent an afternoon tasting flavors purchased from an international farmers market, after drinking everything from Jamaican root tonic, to brewed birds nest, we settled on hibiscus, aloe, and tamarind. These flavors were global in scope and surprisingly delicious.

Visions of a James Bond movie set against the backdrop of the East India Trading Company became our design inspiration.
