I love playing around with WordPress themes. By keeping the content seperate from the skin, WordPress makes it easy to preview your blog in different themes. I must download about five every month just to try them out. I had heard about the Thesis Theme from Chris Brogan‘s site and also saw other positive reviews. So recently when shopping around for a facelift for climbersfestival.org I decided it was a great excuse to purchase and download the Theme from diythemes.com.
Check out the new climbersfestival.org site I built using the Thesis Theme!

It only took a few minutes to get my bearings with their custom control panels in the admin site, but once I did I was amazed at some of the customization controls they give you without having to touch the code. Even when having to add some css code, the theme guides you in a controlled way that makes you confident that Google’s spiders will still love crawling through your site with ease. The best thing about the Thesis Theme is access to DIYthemes’ active support forums. I have had multiple questions answered quickly.
